H – Health & Wellbeing

As part of our overall health and wellbeing it is essential that we remember to look after ourselves whilst both at home and work.

Whether that be in an office or other, sitting or standing can cause our bodies to develop aches and pains so this is an area that I am now focusing on with various local business to help with Wellbeing at Work.

Massage in the workplace

I am a fully Qualified, and insured, experienced Beauty & Holistic Therapist offering a range of treatments but specialising in seated massage and Indian head massage in the workplace.

Benefits of Seated Massage in your Workplace

  • Increases circulation
  • Acts as an antidote to stress
  • Relaxes your muscles and relieves aches and pains
  • Helps to ease headaches and eyestrain
  • Helps to reduce tension
  • Helps to focus, boost energy levels and increase positivity – all of these will in turn assist with increased productivity

How does a seated chair massage work?

After completion of the consultation form prior to their massage ensuring I am aware of any injury or ailment, the best care can then be taken of your colleagues

The massage takes place fully clothed performed on a specially designed ergonomic massage chair with no use of oils or other products. Swedish massage techniques are performed along the back, neck, arms, shoulder and head, to leave your colleagues feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with reduced levels of stress and psychical tension.

We also offer an Indian Head Massage this also a form of Mindfulness – in that it takes the mind into itself and carries you away into a calm state.

Benefits of Indian Head Massage :  Effective management of anxiety, giving space for the mind to rest and overall boosts energy for the rest of the day

Additionally, we offer a Hand and Arm Massage as this will help to relax the muscles that are in a static position for long periods either using the keyboard or mouse. For this treatment we would use a hand lotion or oil. Any products used would be 100% naturally derived, certified by The Vegan Society and always cruelty free

How long do treatments last?

The treatments can vary in length to suit your needs, but our standard treatments last approx. 10 -15 mins with a 5 minute turnaround time between sessions.

What do you need to do ?

Once I have confirmed your appointment date & time, I will send through a booking form with the time slots.   Usually one person in the office will be asked to send out an e-mail to staff, asking people if they would like to take part

On the day I can work at an agreed time that suits your office environment. All I need is a small office or meeting room and I will do the rest and your work colleagues can just sit back and relaxwhile we release the tightness and tension in the neck and shoulder area leaving colleagues ready to face the rest of their day

After care –   After the treatment, we advise you to drink plenty of water and avoid stimulants such as tea or coffee as well as encouraging deep breathing and enjoy plenty of fresh air.

Feedback is always welcome after the treatment which can be provided either on the appointment sheet or via our Contact Page

What is the Cost?

I have a simple pricing structure,

Less than 9 colleagues –  £100 per session  – max 2 ½ hours

10 – 20 colleagues – £35 per hour  – max 5 hours

20 – 30 colleagues – £30 per hour –  max 8 hours

This can be paid for by your organisation or individual staff members. Some of our client companies organise regular massage days for their staff, while others arrange a one-off visit as a reward or business incentive.

Whatever your requirements, we are able to design a ‘wellbeing massage package’ to suit your individual circumstances and working environment.
